Installation
Use PL Polyurethane Premium Construction Adhesive to adhere the backsplash to the substrate (which can be drywall, etc.). You may want to use double sided tape in remote spots to temporarily hold the backsplash in place while the adhesive sets. You are able to cover the right and left vertical edges with our 48 in. x 1 in. standard trim. You can also cover the edges with our stainless steel cap strip sold in 42 in. lengths or custom lengths. If you are butting multiple stainless steel panels, the divider strip is used to join the panels. Please see our trim category. You must subtract 3/32 in. (0.09375 in) from the dimension that you measure for each cap trim or divider trim you decide to use. Thus, if you elect to use the cap trim on both sides or cap trim and divider trim or any combination of trims subtract 3/16 in. (0.1875 in) from the width dimension that you measure to compensate for the thickness of the two trim pieces.
